Funding Opportunities with Community Foundations for Environmental Projects

There are more than 200 environmental organizations operating in Alberta who undertake diverse community projects and initiatives across the province. As nonprofits and charities, they rely on diverse sources of funding to undertake this important work and community foundations play a vital role in supporting these organizations to achieve their mission.

In Alberta, the Calgary Foundation and the Edmonton Community Foundation are critical sources of funding and capacity building for environmental organizations and initiatives.  However, many environmental nonprofits are unaware of the unique opportunities and funding possibilities available with these Foundations for environmental projects.

We invite you to join Rod Ruff  from Alberta Ecotrust Foundation with Djaka Blais-Amare from the Calgary Foundation and Craig Stumpf-Allen from the Edmonton Community Foundation as we discuss these opportunities and more in a webinar on August 15.
