Stephanie Ripley (she/her) is the Project Coordinator, Renewables, for the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre. Hailing from the plains and foothills of Southern Alberta, in Treaty Seven territory, Stephanie has lived in many parts of Canada and now resides in Treaty Six territory in Edmonton. She has a professional background in project management and operations in both the solar PV and technical theatre industries and holds a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology, from York University, and a Diploma in Alternative Energy Technology from NAIT. She is also a certified Energy Manager in Training (EMIT), through the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). Through her role at the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre she helps deliver programs, funding, and education to assist Alberta municipalities working on renewable energy projects. Stephanie is also an urban beekeeper, gardener, avid bicycle commuter, supporter of Edmonton’s amazing local food production and arts scenes, and is passionate about contributing to a just and equitable energy transition in Alberta.
