Vincent Morales is an Energy Policy Analyst at the Pembina Institute, Canada’s leading clean energy think tank. His research and analysis have informed policy recommendations on Canada’s coal phase-out, Alberta’s electricity market, carbon pricing, diesel reduction in remote communities, and urban freight. He is also an analyst with the Business Renewables Centre Canada, a modern marketplace where corporations and institutions can learn how to buy renewable energy directly from developers. In 2019, he was nominated as one of Canada’s Top 30 Under 30 sustainability leaders by the magazine Corporate Knights. Vincent has a master’s in environmental technology from Imperial College London, England. Being passionate about energy-related issues, he specialized in energy policy and economics. Vincent speaks French and English. He joined the Pembina Institute in Calgary in 2017.
