Joshua Carter is a settler who has mixed racial identities and is living in Calgary, Alberta, Treaty 7 Territory. Joshua comes with a Diploma of Social Work; currently studying for an undergraduate degree in Anthropology. He brings passion and experience working with young people to facilitate conversation surrounding food justice and leadership development. He also brings multiple years’ experience working in the youth homeless sector. Joshua is at the forefront of implementing antiracist frameworks, challenging current structures, and shaping change. His experience with bridging social work, gardening, food justice, and radical interconnectedness make him a leader and community organizer in Mohhkintsis communities.
