Workshop
Connecting Art and Science
This breakout session will explore how art and science can come together to empower connections between knowledge, emotion and community. The hosts will share an example of the Weaselhead/Glenmore Park Preservation Society’s video poetry project ‘Wild Constructs’ and then facilitate a guided poetry and art workshop that will explore participants’ work and the sustainable development goals through creative expression. The hour is designed to equip participants with practical tools and questions that can be applied to individuals disciplines and to the ways in which we reach new audiences and deepen advocacy initiatives.
This workshop is co-hosted with Lisa Dahlseide, Park Naturalist with the Weaselhead/Glenmore Park Preservation Society.
