Vicki Stroich is the Partner & Community Engagement Director at Alberta Ecotrust Foundation. Vicki is a respected nonprofit leader and served as Executive Director of Alberta Theatre Projects from 2013 to 2018. She believes in the creative power of authentic collaboration and has honed her skills in community engagement through roles at the Banff Centre, Creative Calgary, and the Trico Changemaker Studio and Calgary Arts Development’s Artist as Changemaker Program.

Vicki is passionate about the environment, in part from her experience as a surfer and concern about the world’s oceans. As an experienced dramaturg (you might have to look that up!), Vicki’s honest and thoughtful curiosity about Alberta Ecotrust’s work, community and stories is also providing a new analytical lens to their relationships with partners, grantees, volunteers and colleagues in all sectors.

Trico Changemakers Studio Tours

The Trico Changemakers Studio opened in 2018 as a co-working and learning space as well as a community hub for local organizations and individuals working on solutions to complex challenges. The Studio aims to provide a space of learning, collaboration and connection for Changemakers in Calgary and from around the world. This diverse community consists of member organizations, students, and faculty who are committed to addressing some of the most urgent challenges of our time through social innovation. Join Vicki on a tour, and learn about some of the cool projects that have come out of the Studio.

Look for this activity in the Thursday Afternoon program during the Reception at 5:00 and 5:30 pm. If you haven’t already, get your tickets to the 2019 Environmental Gathering!
