Breanna has been fascinated with nature from a very young age. Throughout her life, advocating for the environment was always a priority - what started as frequent visits to the zoo shifted into volunteer work at environmental non-profits, fuelling her passion for environmental advocacy. Her interest in environmental protection and water conservation led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and a Master of Science in Aquatic Ecology from the University of Calgary.

Her previous work experience includes wildlife rehabilitation, environmental consulting and education, river biomonitoring, stakeholder engagement and Indigenous relations. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys volunteering, spending time outdoors, hanging out with friends and family, trying new foods and cuddling her cat, Nunu.
