Gabriela Pino is from Ecuador, the traditional territory of the Kichwa Nations. She is grateful to live, work and play on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the îethka Nakoda Nations (Chiniki, Bearspaw, Goodstoney), and the Otipemisiwak Métis Government (Districts 5 and 6).

Gabriela is a dedicated fund developer and relationship builder with over nine years of experience in the charitable sector. As Director of Development at Alberta Ecotrust Foundation, Gabriela leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of the organization's Fund Development Strategy to contribute to our collective responsibility to secure a healthy society and natural environment. Gabriela holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Calgary and is a Certified Fundraising Executive. 

She enjoys gardening, reading, dancing, paddle boarding, hiking, and sharing good food with family and friends.
