Program Specialist, Retrofit Accelerator
Garnet is passionate about the intersection of technical solutions and social change. With a background in mechanical engineering, he began his career as a renewable energy engineer, working in design and project management before shifting his focus to environmental non-profits. Since 2019, he has been engaged in multisolving approaches that address environmental, social and cultural challenges.
Garnet holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Project Management Professional (PMP). He thrives on both spreadsheets and community-building, is an avid musician and mountain enthusiast and is an Oilers fan who also champions the transition to a sustainable energy future. Based in amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton), he is grateful to live, work and build relationships on Treaty 6 territory.
