As an environmental professional, Lori has dedicated her career to protecting, enhancing and restoring ecosystems as well as the smaller treasured examples of nature all around us. Lori’s background includes a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and a Certificate of Applied Land Use Planning from the University of Alberta giving her a solid grounding in both ecosystem science and urban issues.
Lori has worked at a macro scale on larger landscape conservation and also on many of the local issues that challenge our communities today.
In her spare time Lori channels her passion for ecosystems on her off grid, seasonal, sustainable cut flower farm, and exploring the peaks around her home with her son and husband.
Lori is committed to authentic allyship and living and working in right relations with the First Nations of Treaty 7 and zone 3 Métis
