Matt Grace is the Principal of Matt Grace Sustainability Inc., a boutique, Calgary-based sustainability consultancy focusing on deep green solutions.

Matt has 30 years of experience in green buildings across the UK and Alberta. He has an undergraduate degree in Aeronautical Engineering and a Master's in Energy and the Environment from the prestigious Cranfield University. His career has included working at The Building Research Establishment and starting his own successful sustainability consulting firm in 2012. He achieved Professional Engineer status in 2008, many green building designations, including WELL, Built Green, Living Future and becoming a LEED Fellow. In 2018, he received the Green Building Pioneer Award from the CaGBC. Matt has served terms with the CaGBC Calgary Climate Hub and has been the Chair of Built Green's Technical Standards Committee for several years.

Matt enjoys the mountains in his spare time in many different ways, works hard to live a low-impact life and promotes the benefits of "Dad" jokes at all appropriate opportunities.
