Renée Kirby

Evaluation and Reporting Coordinator

Renée is a lifelong learner. She is grateful for the privilege of being born on Turtle Island and for having access to post-secondary education, which allowed her to obtain a degree in mechanical engineering. She holds an intention to leave the world better than when she came to it.

Renée’s experience in both the private and nonprofit sectors have honed her commitment to organize and co-create in community towards the transformation and reimagination of oppressive systems, leading to a softer world for all. Renée strives to address the social and economic effects of climate change in concert with ecological effects in order to make climate change action more accessible to all.

Intermingled with and in addition to paid work, Renée can be found drinking from beautiful vessels, shepherding plants and teenagers through life, building, creating, finding every opportunity to take life outside to build relationships with the people and spaces around her, and learning to fulfill her responsibilities under Treaty 7.
