Born and raised in Calgary, Tori developed a love for the outdoors through adventures with her family in southern Alberta's scenic landscapes. Pursuing a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Calgary, she recognized the importance of effectively communicating scientific knowledge to inspire action. Driven by an interest in bridging the gap between crucial topics and actionable steps, Tori pursued an MA in Environmental Education and Communication from Royal Roads University.

Tori's professional journey is guided by her desire to tell important stories, amplify voices, listen attentively, and empower people through personalized and impactful communication. Throughout her work in the public sector and consulting for diverse clients, such as industry and First Nation communities, she has fostered collaboration and intersectionality, recognizing the power of communications to bridge gaps.

When she's not working, Tori enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, biking, skiing, or camping. She also spends time trying her best to keep her houseplants alive.
