About
Since 2016, Alberta Ecotrust's annual Environmental Gathering has been a catalyst for change, bringing together passionate environmental leaders from across Alberta to learn, connect, and amplify their impact.
After a brief pause, we’re thrilled to announce that the Gathering returns to Calgary May 7-9, 2025! The Gathering welcomes anyone interested in sustainability in Alberta. This includes professionals from all sectors, such as non-profits, government, building industry, energy resources, academia, and Indigenous and local communities.

Building Bridges
The theme for the 2025 Gathering, Building Bridges, highlights the importance of trust, collaboration and connection in co-creating a sustainable and resilient future. Attendees will engage with inspiring speakers, participate in collaborative programming, and learn practical tools and innovative solutions.
It is an invitation to connect across sectors, perspectives and ideas to address environmental challenges with actionable solutions.

Cross-Sector Collaboration and Partnerships: Workshops and panels demonstrating how diverse groups can unite to drive meaningful progress.

Capacity Building and Skill Development: Equipping participants with practical tools and skills to address environmental challenges effectively
