
Interested participants can now apply to the first round of expressions of interest for the Getting to Zero Research Project. Launched in January, this project works with the industry to turn real-world data from low or zero-emissions buildings into practical insights that can be applied across Alberta.
We are working with designers, builders, consultants, contractors, developers and homebuilders across Alberta to gather and purchase data from their low or zero-emissions Part 9 residential buildings, including single-family homes, Multi-Unit Residential Buildings (MURB), and townhouses. The project includes three participation streams, with payments of up to $8,000, $10,000 and $25,000 available for data collection. Thank you to the City of Calgary, City of Edmonton, RBC Foundation and the Peter Gilgan Foundation for their generous support of this project.
