Rachelle has worn many hats in her work life, but has spent over a decade working with environmental non-governmental organizations in both western Canada and the United States. Since 2010 she has been part of the team at the Miistakis Institute where she currently works as a project manager. Rachelle loves to learn and completed a Master’s degree in Environmental Design at the University of Calgary where she focused on the vexing issue of managing recreation on public lands in our headwater regions. She is a founding board member for Water Matters and currently serves as the organization’s vice-chair.
