Y2Y will address mounting threats to Alberta’s Eastern Slopes, such as development and resource extraction proposals that put our headwaters and wildlife habitat at risk.

Working with other organizations, they will capitalize on conservation opportunities as they arise, and mobilize Albertans to engage on the decisions that affect them, supporting traditional and non-traditional allies, and presenting key science and economic arguments to government officials and stakeholders.

Y2Y will work to retain the ecological integrity and resiliency of this vital landscape, so it can continue to provide clean drinking water to communities downstream and habitat to species-at-risk.
