The Milk River Watershed Council Canada is best positioned to deliver watershed-based education and environmental literacy programs.

This grant will enable the Milk River Watershed Council Canada to employ a qualified individual to build staff capacity.

This will help keep the community informed of the complexities of the Milk River and how both rural and urban users can implement water conservation strategies for water shortage challenges for years to come. They aim to raise public awareness on watershed conservation through watershed-based education and environmental literacy programs.

This will help build community capacity and active participation in watershed conservation strategies within the watershed.
