The Resilience Institute and the Piikani Nation are partnering on a multi-year building capacity for resilience to climate impacts initiative.

The Piikani School Greenhouse program is a big part of this initiative and TRI’s new “Learning while Doing” program model.

The development of the greenhouse, powered by renewable energy, will inspire students to engage in learning about Blackfoot traditional knowledge, environmental stewardship and food and energy security.
