Our Retrofit Accelerator program offers free coaching services to help building owners and managers make sustainable upgrades to their buildings, known as “deep retrofits.” These go beyond standard upgrades and take a whole-building approach to optimizing a building to reduce its emissions, energy consumption and operating costs.

Are You Eligible?
Your building(s) MUST be located in Alberta and meet the program's eligibility criteria to apply for our free coaching services.
Eligible buildings:
Multi-unit residential buildings
Commercial buildings
Municipalities, universities, schools, and hospitals
NOT eligible buildings:
Single-family or detached homes
Duplexes, fourplexes, row houses or townhouses
Industrial buildings
Any buildings outside of Alberta

Working together with industry leaders
The program aims to reduce building emissions and make deep retrofits more accessible for owners and managers now, and into the future. We collaborate with industry leaders to grow Alberta’s retrofit sector through training, capacity building, networking, and research while expanding Alberta Ecotrust’s Emissions-Neutral Buildings Information Exchange (ENBIX) with events and resources on deep energy retrofit topics.
