2026 Environmental Gathering returning to Calgary November 2026!
The 2026 Gathering will explore how restoring and protecting nature strengthens Alberta’s communities. With a focus on nature-based solutions and conservation, we’ll look at how healthy ecosystems support climate resilience, local economies, cultural continuity and community well-being.

Grants
Alberta Ecotrust offers funding that enables non-profits to undertake groundbreaking local projects in the areas of climate resilience and emissions reduction, nature-based solutions and conservation, and the circular economy.
Impact Investing
Alberta Ecotrust invests in initiatives that reduce urban emissions. Our investments, which can be up to $1 million, focus on scalable projects and enterprises involving high-performance buildings, active and low-emission transportation, and renewable energy.

Through our engagement efforts, we strive to build meaningful relationships and partnerships with industries, governments, businesses, non-profits, and communities. We foster knowledge sharing and collaboration to explore solutions to Alberta's environmental and climate challenges.
